I'm guessing this is something that works better on a PC than a Mac? For all your links, I get two boxes 'What' and 'Where'. These boxes misbehave, because the words 'What' and 'Where' reappear every time you click on them (so you can't go back and correct a typo).

I tried typing in Shrewsbury though, and got Shrewsbury, Massachussets, USA. :lol:

What is Live Search? Is it something like Google?

ms live is crap. I've tried it on two macs (firefox browser and safari) and on a windows xp box (firefox and opera) and nothing loads.

knowing microsoft its likely to be some internet explorer only thing and there is no way in the world I am letting internet explorer run at all on my computers.

best stick to the google alternatives, at least they work.

Any idea how old the images are? Looking at some places I know, they seem to date from 2003 or before.

Outside my house is our car and we only moved there May 2004, so they're at least that new.

Cheers for the link. That's a very cool site - shame it's only Shrewsbury and B'ham that I can see are active on 3d view. London's not :(

The 2D views seem older than the 3D ones. Some of the latter of Shrewsbury appear to have been taken last summer probably in the evening or on a Sunday given the lack of traffic. I can see somebody's conservatory that they only put up last year.The 3D views only seem to cover larger towns unfortunately.

The ones from the north of the town where taken in the summer as I spotted our patio table, sad but true :P

It works on Firefox no problem, there are some great quality images on there!
