I almost feel sorry for old Saddam,Bin Ladens scape goat, while at the same time Mugabe and others live on.Its Blair and Bush who should be hanged for war crimes.

What war crimes has Blair committed?

I'm with you on this avronb. Saddam was a harsh and brutal leader - no doubt about it. But under his rule, Iraq was definately a much safer place to live.Even as I write, I'm listening to news reports that 15 Iraqi civillians have been killed in a car bomb attack.
Bush and his poodle Blair are responsible for turning into Iraq into the massive blood-bath that it is today. This illegal war was based on lies and not at all in the British interest. Which makes Tony Blair liable for trial for planning an aggressive war and murder (of our own ill-equipped and wrongly deployed troops as well as of huge numbers of Iraqis), in addition to unconnected charges of treason and of imposing policies likely to have genocidal consequences.

Who saw Blair answering questions on the matter? Oh, he was squirming so much it was funny.
Reporter: Are you for or against the execution of Saddam Hussein?
Blair: Everyone knows our position on the death penalty.
Reporter: So, are you for or against the execution of Saddam Hussein?
Blair: I think you should stop asking questions.
(Not fully word for word, but that's the general gist of it)
What?! Why not answer a simple question?! Basically he's saying he's a hypocrite. I can't help but hate Blair (as I always have, obviously)...

He can't say he's for executions because that would go against British and European law. But he can't say that he's against this execution because it is allowed under Iraqi law and was decided by an Iraqi court. Basically he's stuck!

Watching Blair squirm was both cringeworthy and funny. - Personally, I've no problem with death penalties being imposed on those who deserve them. A sovereign government in Iraq should be perfectly entitled to try and execute a tyrant like Saddam Hussein. But it's a puppet government that rules Iraq, rather than a truely independent sovereign power- This whole episode was nothing more than another CIA orchestrated farce.

Watching the execution of Sadam was like something out of Braveheart not of this century,he should have been tried fairly and banged up for life, but dont ever forget that this man was created by America to over throw Iran.
