From the Shropshire Star
http://www.shropshirestar.com/news/publish...cle_23492.shtml"A really grape year for wine"
The first harvest of the most northern red wine grape in the world has taken place at Wroxeter Roman Vineyard. And this year the harvest had been a bumper one, despite the wet weather over the summer.
Owner of the award-winning vineyard, David Millington, said this year's vintage would go down in history.
He said: "The wet weather hadn't really affected our crop - the harvest has been wonderful."
The wine, made from the Rondo grape, will be on the shelves later this year.
