Just been into the new Shrewsbury branch of Ludlow's Deli in the Square on Fish street (where Pengwern Books used to be). Some nice stuff and some healthy competition should keep Appleyards on their toes whichcan only be good for the gourmets of Shrewsbury!

Good to hear that the old Pengwern Books place (they are now on Princess Street, near the Old St. Chads church) is being used already. Trouble about Fish Street is that there is very little footfall (people walking by). Appleyards on Wyle Cop will have far more people walking by its shop window.
