One has to ask... why not have a more simple, paid, Travel Census Week? Surely choosing a day (specifically mid-week and a pre-determined one at that) means people may make different journeys to normal? Also, what if it rains that day? Is it representative? Someone didn't think things through...

Could be worse - have you ever seen much about the sampling method that was used to compile the Beeching reports in the 1960s?

My challenge today was to get on as many survey camera's as possible in the travel truck, did I complete my challenge> yes I think so.
It was quite funny the one person sat at the side of the road watched me go past so many times he started waving at me in the end each time I drove by. Maybe he was listening to the radio I'm not sure :D

Did I see you at about 8:15am opposite Benbow Quays by the river?
I filled in my form but there was only room for 8 journeys, I did 12 and had to scrawl alll over the back cover to to fit them on. I also added 2 typed pages worth of ranting about transport matters and stapled it to the form, it'll probably end up in the guildhall bin though!!
