Title: New Meadow Football Stadium

edache - October 29, 2006 04:04 PM (GMT)
Here's a photo of the new stadium under construction near the Meole Brace roundabout in Shrewsbury. I've got several more from the flight today and I'll post them at www.aeropic.co.uk sometime soon! If you'd like I can post a close-up of the stadium itself.

Here's a close-up from a slightly different angle. I've posted some other photos at www.aeropic.co.uk/photo_database/shrewsbury.htm. The photo of the right side of the development shows the long line of trees that have been cut down by the road. Did they need to cut so many down?

good work edache.I think that the club have upset quite a few people with the felling of the trees, apparently to help visibility.

Taken from my house earlier today; I call this picture "Crowd Cam."

It is a little worrying that it seems closer than I expected.

Hi ThrobsBlackHat, welcome to the forum.

Members of this forum may not have known this but I was lucky enough to be part of a tour of the New Meadow ground recently.

I enjoyed the tour of the New Meadow and was very impressed by the rate and scope of development and believe that it is a definite step up in modernisation for both the Shrewsbury Town team and Shrewsbury itself.
