Welcome to the forum evostick,
I only know of one taking place on November 5th at the West Mid Showground - More details to be posted nearer the time.
Keep a look out in the admag thats where you normally find them listed nearer to the time.
The problem these days is that insurance for public displays is so high smaller pubs and organisations that used to hold them can no longer afford to do so.

Hi evostick,
There is usually a firework display at Caterpillar/Perkins just off Lancaster Road.
Does anyone know what the laws are with regards to letting off fireworks now?
We usually have some at home on bonfire night but i'm not sure whether you now have to have a licence for this.

Just a quick message to Gromit,
I am well aware of the safety risks involved in handling fireworks. I am nearly 40yrs old for heavens sake.
If you have something to say, then please use the message boards. That is what they are here for.
I am not against the internal mail system, but you are obviously embarrassed by your comments.
If I choose to let off a few fireworks in my garden, they will not be a 'bloody nuisance' in my hands. The law tells me I can do this.
kindest regards

I think what has happened is that Gromit has been sending messages to Shropshirelass via the PM system on this forum about the use of fireworks in private back gardens.

Went to this one a couple of years ago. Probably the best one in the Shrewsbury area.
