Im looking for a 12 month placement job for my uni course internet computing, looking for a job in web design/development or IT technician, does anyone know any companies that would take me on?

I'm surprised you haven't had a response. After all, we're constantly being told that there is a 'skills shortage' and, by the CBI, that one in five job vacancies cannot be filled. Are you sure that you've checked your post for the hundreds of job offers that must have been flooding in? I hope that you're not one of those many thousands of Brits who is apparently too lazy to work.

I do hope that our leaders have not be misleading us. I'll be suspecting that the country is not under an unprecedented threat from terrorism next. Who knows where such thoughts might lead?

I think like anything else you need to do more than ask on this site. If you are keen to have a career in computing then universities themselves have databases of companies that can help you. Or alternatively the careers service (Connexions) Frankwell Quay will be able to help you in Shrewsbury
