Title: Boy Racers
Description: The point is...???
KiCk3R - September 12, 2006 03:26 PM (GMT)
Don't know about you guys, but when im getting a snack in town or something, all i see is a bunch of idiots revving their engines, driving around over and over again in town.
But seriously whats the point?...
If you have a nice done up car and its looking all clean and spanky, why not drive it in the daytime so people can see it.
Your wasting your fuel, blasting your dixie theme tune horns and showing off in the dark!
Common!!
Must be something else to do!

A chav's gotta do what a chav's gotta do.
I live on a main road (Whitchurch Road) and opposite the Morrisons car park there. I've got used to the hoardes of idiots out there.

Do you mean bigger exhaust hole Lone ranger ?
See, now if the town Cente was pedestrianised would we get this ?
I think all car parks need to be heavily cobbled with boy racer disposal units, in them. This consists of a large compactor that reduces any boy racing vehicle into a two foot square peice of metal. The units are disguised as free boy racer car washes, exclusive to boy racers. The compressed cubes, formely boy racer vehicles are strategically placed around car parks to deter the would be boy racer to try out his lack of driving and life skills in supermarket car parks.
It works with animals, they are less likely to hang around in packs :D

I think its horses for courses.
Some people love cars - I'm one of them -
some people go to model railway exhibitions -
some people enter flower shows or dog shows etc.
Have to admit though - I dont admire their manner of driving or the anti social angle that goes with it.
Not sure if anybody remembers a few years ago somebody was killed on Frankwell Car park when a car overturned? This was the so called boy racers showing off.
This led to the council constructing barriers to stop cars entering after closing.......Raven meadows bus station has done the same - as you go around on the right - opposite the main station forecourt - barriers at night time.

Like i said, i have no problem with them doing it! its their choice.
But when you p**s around on the roads causing dangerous acts, someone is going to get hurt.
For example,
What is the point of wheelspinning in town, it messes up your wheels, and blackens the road.
They are a nusence to many girls around town aswell.
Ive seen chavs wind down thier windows shouting at girls and screaming abuse at these people.
Not sure if you know the woman who works for the papers near the railway station (i personally don't), but she got hurds of abuse at her with chavs picking up the newspapers and throwing them at her.
its just not on!

You probably mean 'Toothy Peg'! I remember her standing in the same spot in the 1970s. I bet there's not much she hasn't seen in all these years. <_<
