TV chaos as work done on Wrekin Thousands of people across Shropshire were been left facing poor reception on their TV screens over the past 24 hours. And experts say the disruption to viewing is likely to continue. Programmes on all analogue channels receiving signals from the Wrekin transmitter suffered interference last night at peak viewing times. And the poor quality pictures continued today as people switched on to the regular breakfast TV programmes. People across the county were hit by poor reception on the signal, although digital viewers were unaffected. A spokeswoman for Central Television said today that the problems were caused by a combination of vital engineering work on the transmitter and the weather conditions. |
