I've looked on the net and nothing has been on any local news but apparently an easyJet place was very low over Shrewsbury about 3:30pm this afternoon with what's said to be smoke or steam coming from an engine.

Apparently it circled around the area three times maybe using up fuel for an emergency landing at Birmingham perhaps.

Did anyone else hear about this or see anything?

I saw a low flying jumbo jet plane over Shrewsbury about a year ago. I think we're a holding area (Shropshire being out of the way of major air routes and rural) for planes to hang around when Birmingham airport is busy. Not sure though.
