What do people think of the new public "sculpture" that is to go at the top of the Mardol in Shrewsbury town centre? I welcome the idea of something new to go at the spot, which is currently occupied by a 1970s giant flower pot and litter, but they could have come up with something better IMO! I'm all for art and it will improve the area, which does currently look a bit messy.
The design however is rather weird and I feel will be a future eyesore, like many of the 60's buildings we currently have to put up with in the town.
