No, I don't think you are. I like the occassional day by the beach (and a trip to the Welsh coast on a nice warm Summer's day will do me) but going abroad for a couple of weeks for a seaside holiday isn't my liking.
Now that Europe is more open for tourists (and migrants) to move about, and with cheap air travel and a channel tunnel, visiting (and of course even moving to) European cities and other inland destinations is easier than ever.
I want to visit cities such as Paris and Berlin in the next 10 years or so. Better get all this travelling out of the way before the oil runs out!!!

Sounds good to me, I'm not a fan of seaside holidays, whats the point in travelling abroad to sit on a beach getting skin cancer :P Seriously, I'd rather go to more interesting historic places.
I've not been myself but I had a friend who was really looking forward to a trip to Egypt. However when they arrived they where really dissapointed and whished they had never gone!
I don't know why but I really want to go to Reykjavík in Iceland.
Anyway no holiday for me this year, I should imagine I'll be working Christmas day as well! altogether Ahhh....

Krakow is supposed to really nice, the Tatra mountains nearby on the Slovakian border are also very scenic.

I'm not a fan of lying around doing nothing. I'm quite happy to go somewhere with mountains (or other equally stunning scenery) away from everywhere else and do some walking and rock studying. I've recently had holidays (although in some cases they have actually been field trips with School or Uni) in North and South Wales, the Lake District (twice), south Scotland (Ettrick Valley) and Devon in recent years, and I'm heading back up to Scotland this summer in a couple of weeks.
As a Geology student I'm interested in the Geology of the British Isles and that draws me to visit middle of nowhere type locations.
