It would be good to see a compilation of pictures featuring the worst buildings/areas of Shrewsbury.

Thankfully the two worst ever buildings in the history of Shrewsbury were demolished only a few years ago - the BT tower on Smithfield Road and the Multi-storey car park on St. Austin's Street/Bridge Street/Lower Claremont Bank.
Currently the worst buildings are Princess House on The Square and Raven Meadows Multi-storey car park.

The market gets my vote, but i could live with the clock tower, which must be the highest brick clock tower in the land,am i correct in thinking this?

Anyone going to brave the Seventy Steps for a photo? It's a strong contender.

The multi-storey is ugly but I reckon it's difficult to make a car park like that look much better. I think I'd go with the market hall being the worst place in Shrewsbury. It's just dingy and doesn't inspire you to go near it.
The tallest clock tower in England is the one at Birmingham University ;)
