Title: Bike Repairs

I need to get my bike overhauled. Obviously I could choose Dave Mellor at Frankwell, but I get the impression that they would be expensive. Anywhere else recommended for bike repairs?

Have recently had work done on mine at Stan Jones in the Town Centre, it was quite resonably priced and the work carried out quite quickly. Having said that, have since been told that it would have been cheaper to go to Jack Davies down by the railway station.

I might try Stan Jones then, Hills Lane isn't far to walk! Not that I'm lazy, but I don't fancy carrying a dead bike across the town.

Without a doupt in my mind, the best and cheapest bike shop in town is Jack Davies opp. the Gateway sells new bikes and spares too.

Near me is the bike shop on Ditherington Road, which is where I get my odds n ends.

My vote also goes with the bike shop on Ditherington Road. They were very helpful when I came in with a flat tyre on my bike, and fitted a new inner tube while I waited. Their labour charges were also very reasonable.
