It's noticeable how many countries are not taking part any more: Italy, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia, to name a few.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds the voting disappointing. Televising the presenters was bad enough (a disembodied voice saying "This is Hilversum calling" had much more gravitas than some bald Dutchman making suggestive comments about mobile phone numbers), and now they are missing out the first seven points and not always translating into French. It's not half as much fun as it used to be.

Haha, yes I saw it. I wanted Germany to win. Oh well. Nice to see, for once, a Rock band winning as opposed to some awful pop act.
