My grandparents were from Birmingham and I was lucky enough to visit in Shrewsbury with my grandfather in 1979. Guess things have changed somewhat. Anyway, my grandfather's brother, Harold Perry, lived with his wife, Nellie, and son Brian John on Grasmere in Harlescott. Brian worked at the nearby Rolls Royce plant. I have fond memories of my stay in Shrewsbury and always wanted to return. My wife and I are planning to go next year for our 25th anniversary. I know I still have relatives in various locations in the UK, but was curious to see if any relatives or friends remember them. Harold passed away around 1970. Brian died fairly young about 15 years ago, and Nellie about 10 years ago. Enjoy your forum, but don't have a lot to contribute since I live in the States.
