I came out of the Shropshire Star building in Ketley tonight at 5:50 and made it all the way back to Shrewsbury under reasonable light.

It made me think spring is just 3-4 weeks away, the clocks go forward and it starts to get slightly warmer. Personally I like all the seasons but Spring and Autumn are my favorites as there is so much changing arounds us.

So whats your favorite time of the year and why?

For the weather probably April or September - usually at these times of the year the weather is dry, sunny and warm. Summer can be too hot at times and I also suffer from heyfever.

November. That's when my birthday is, so everything revolves around me for at least a week. :)

Spring it well and truly on its way, there are buds on some hedges and trees next door, the frogs are in our pond although no spawn yet! and the birds are singing in a morning which is so nice to wake upto.

I can't wait to get out into the garden a bit more now, the clocks go forward on the 26th of this month.

I can't say that I specifically have one particular favourite season, although if pushed I would probably veer towards winter. However, I just like the fact that we actually have seasons, nice and variable. :D
