Title: Mini Motorbikes

There has been a problem of late with kids riding mini motorbikes on pavements etc.there are plenty of waste ground sites in Shrewsbury that could be turned into special tracks for the kids to ride on.i used to live in Coalbrookdale when i was a kid and we all used to go scrambling on an old BSA Bantam on an old open cast coal site(pre Telford) it kept us out of trouble and bothered no one, lads like bikes so lets cater for that urge and give them some spare land to let off steam on,its got to be better for them than drinking cider and getting into trouble.

Kids always go through a phase where they try that kind of thing, until they get caught and the cops put an end to it. One night I was driving down the street and a skateboarder went right across in front of my car. Unfortunately for him, he was one of my students. I stopped the car and told him to get out of the street, and that if I caught him at it again, I was going to call his parents. Works MUCH better than calling the cops, and the kids don't hate you for it. The skateboarders found safer alternative spaces to play on thier own.
