If Kat should read this, what part of America are you from?
Hi, guys. As if I don't chat more than I should, do you really want to encourage me to talk more than I already do? My husband is the one who got me started with this forum. If anyone knew Harold and Nellie Perry, and thier son, Brian, who lived in Shrewsbury, they were related to my husband. Thus, the interest in Shrewsbury. As for me, we live in West Texas, on the Mexican border. We have a small ranch, complete with horses, dogs, cats, and the usual array of wildlife that goes with it. Husband Mark is a customs officer, and is responsible for all those emails to Rob Underwood on the Shropshire radio station! I stay at the ranch and tend the multitude of tasks that goes with it, when I'm not substitute teaching for the local schools. Yes, it is the traditional wild west lifestyle, complete with rattlesnakes and cactus, and yes, we do go into Mexico on occassion, to shop, go to the dentist, have dinner, etc. As for our plans to come to England, I'm into history, and can't wait to see all the historic sites. My roots are Scottish, and with the help of very kind gentleman in Edinburgh, we have tracked down the ruins of the castle that was the family's ancestral home. We get a lot of visitors from Europe at this time of year, particularly England and Germany. So, if you're planning to visit, let us know. Glad to answer any questions, and appreciate you helping me with mine.
A lot of information relevant to visitors to the UK seems to have migrated onto Worst cars you have owned, such is life.
