Shrewsbury Guide the Shrewsbury information web site today celebrates serving Shrewsbury's residents and tourists with information on the county town for the past two years.

The web site which launched on April 13th 2002 offers over 300 pages of information on a range of topics including: tourism, general Shrewsbury information, entertainment, local features and interactive content. On average the site serves over 30,000 pages of information per month to visitors from around the world.

In November 2002 after being on-line for only a few months Shrewsbury Guide won the community category in the Shropshire & Mid Wales Webmasters 2002 Award's run by the Shropshire Star. Since then the site has grown rapidly and is now one of Shrewsbury's longest operating independent web sites remaining in operation.

Shrewsbury Guide's webmaster Christopher Pritchard who recently ran the successful"Broadband 4 Harlescott" campaign encourages local businesses to advertise on the site for free and help promote Shrewsbury on the internet.
