Some of you might be interested in this, basically its a calender where STFC and it's various supporters groups put down what they are up to on a calender so anyone can see whats happening and find out more if they want.

I take it you're a fan of Shrewsbury Town? How do you think they will fare next season? The bookies say relegation is likely... :(

Yes, Im a big fan, Season Ticket holder in fact :D

I think the bookies are being harsh on us. Maybe its to to do with the fact that we realeased so many players but in my opinion that was necessary as the manager got rid of all the dead wood that was not much better than Conference level.

The manager now seems to be concentrating in bringing some raw talent from higher placed teams and moulding that into something special. I hope he can do that. He certainly talks a good game and 99% of Town fans are well happy with his appointment. I think with such a new and young side we would be happy with a mid table finsih to build on after that.

Get down the Meadow and see for yourself next year :P

I have been to a couple of matches in recent years. I think what the Town needs (and it's something all fans wish for I guess) is for a rich person to come along and invest heavily in the club. The New Meadow needs to be built, the squad needs boosting with some experienced players perhaps poached from higher league clubs and so on. I really hope the Town do well - if a town's football club has success, that success rubs off onto the town itself.

if the club had a rich investor with a bit of forward thinking, there would be no need for a new ground.

But without a rich investor the only way to go is for the new ground despite how much i love the Gay Meadow.

Having richowners usally ends up in tears anyway, theres loads of examples of this. Id rather some astute managment and solid progress achieve what Crewe are doing at the moment.

I'd rather some astute management too,but i don't think the club have it(i am also a s/t holder-).

we have not been well run since Tim Yates resigned(possibly pushed)
