Any views from the forum on the current World Cup of football, there are a lot of large St George flags about this time :D

I have a feeling that quite a few of the flags will quietly be removed, after tonight's less-than-impressive performance.

I noticed a few less after last saturdays effort :(

How would a manager who cannot readily communicate with his players be able to tell them of his plans, how they should play against certain teams, how to deal with an on-field crisis, etc., etc?

About as well as Mr Capello did, clearly. :rolleyes:

At the end of the day the England football team cannot, and I doubt will for a long time, play world class football. Our players are paid ridiculous salaries and they cant even come up with a decent win. I think the penalties need to come out of their wages¬!
