Who's idea was it to put a diagonal ramp in between The English Bridge and the turning into Colham? The damn thing absolutely creases me in two. I've suffered with back problems for a while now. All this ramp does is shake you from side to side. I cant believe that anyone with a scrap of intelligence could think up this idea! :angry:

I believe the ramp is there as under it is some sort of service pipe, cable whatever that was not initially identified. This has held up progress of the flood defences and I assume the ramp is a temporary situation.

Know what you mean. It's been there a while and you get a severe jolt even taking it slowly. Can't help thinking that it's a cheap sleeping policeman to slow traffic down.
