hi, my family are looking to move to shropshire and have seen a house for sale in condover park, we have tried to find out the history of when the houses were built etc but cannot find anything on the web. Would really appreciate any inside knowledge on the area, particularly the condover park development, looks like it may have been built in the 1970's. many thanks.

Hi,
Do you mean Condover village or off Sutton Road in Shrewsbury (Tilstock Way, Condover Way, Rowton Road etc)?
We moved to Shrewsbury in December and we love it although we are still getting to grips with some of the area names.

Condover village is nice, with its own shop but no pub. Good access to Shrewsbury via the road leading up to the A49 at Bayston Hill.
Can't really say more, other than it lies very close to the exact centre spot of Shropshire!

Im pretty sure Condover Park used to be part of the Condover Airfield that was operational during WW2.
Lovely place if your looking to live there. You must be minted you lucky sod B)
