Title: Christmas Day Events In Shropshire
Description: Single bloke needs distraction

Looks as if I'll be spending Christmas Day on my own this year.

Are there any activities, charitable or otherwise, on Christmas Day in Shropshire?

hi you mentioned charitable things to do, but dont know if you would be interested in this but i think i remember reading last year that they need people to help feed the homeless on xmas day as they try to make it a nice fun day for everyone so the volunteers and homeless have a good day.
i thought that would be a useful thing to do on xmas day and i thought it was really what xmas should be about
just an idea???

That sounds a bit Victorian Kate!!!

Mind you reading the 'Memory Corner' in the Chronicle this week, only 50 years ago (actually 60 yrs ago if it was 1947, tut tut) a poor 70 yr old woman was told by the Judge whom she was up before for rent arrears,"Why don't you go into the Institute?" "You'll be well looked after there, and you will get your meat regularly," He turned to the court and said," On the grounds of humanity something should be done for her." :o

44. Got no wrinkles. A little short at 5'6". Lawyer. No baggage. Keep fit. Have preference for petite women. No tolerance for insanity or poor hygiene. No kids. Enjoy flatulance and slapstick. Jackass and Beethoven rule. Ok?
