How does this compare to Shrewsbury ? I'd say that the new tesco was ideally suited with loads of disabled parking bays.

I say Shrewsbury because you placed it in Shrewsbury chat!

I've moved this thread to general chat.

Sneaky choice of name for the campaign. I never read much of the original post before I went looking on the site for pix of Carmen Electra in a Californian lifeguard's swimsuit :)

The problem is not the number of bays it is the number of A/B that use them.At Asda on Saturday there were 3 Builders vans ,1 Sky van and a couple of up market cars all in B/B bays with no badges. I know that in law you are not commiting an offence parking in a B/B Bay on private land But lets have a bit of respect for us crips!! Those of us who use chairs need the exrta room to manouver and need to have our doors wide open :)

Well personally I wouldnt and never had parked in a disabled bay. Technology is such these days you could surely name and shame them on some kind of website by taking a phone cam pic of the vehicle or alternatively surely its also the responsibility of the store manager where these idiots park White van man or it seems in this case lazy builder and skyman need to be told.

I have tried approaching some of these people, relying on my obvious disability to protect me, but I still get a lot of abuse and an awful lot of impossible suggestions :o !!!!!!The store managers are more intrested in profit and by their calculations A/B's spend more money than us lot so dont upset the A/B..........
When the old Tesco was open all the night staff used to park in the B/B Bays and when this was queried I was told disabled dont shop at night and we can see our cars parked there !!!!!!
