I wonder if anyone can help me. I'm looking for a wedding reception venue for june 2009. We're getting married at the castle but want a venue that is no more than 10miles outside town and is preferably by the river..... something of a hidden gem too that's a bit unusual. not asking much!!!

Only one I can think of Mytton & Mermaid.. Not sure about the hidden gem :lol: but it is by the river. You could try boating from the castle out there :lol:

I don't know much about it but The Riverside Inn at Cound just before the Cressage straight is next to the river.
