I was wondering what people thought of the graffiti on the boards where the old BT offices used to be on Smithfield Road? Does anyone know if it was done intentionally or was it someone randomly? Whichever, i think it is fantastic and was wondering what others had made of it?

It was paid for by the council,I think. I seem to remember a figure of £500 being mentioned ,But as you say it is very good. :D :D

It certainly looks better than the plain boards but redevelopment of the land into something useful would be even better!

Its was paid for and done by an artist from Manchester! :blink:

yes apparently it was a professional graffitti artist from manchester paid for by the council due to the judges for the britain in bloom contest so therefore it is supposed to have lots of the best aspects of shrewsbury incorporated in it
i only saw pictures in the paper but looked very good
