Is anyone able to help me - my Aunty is trying to get rid of her old settee as she has a new one being delivered next week - but has no way of getting rid of it. Does anyone know of any companies etc that take away old furniture or a charity scheme or any ideas really?? - Please Help!!

If her settee is fairly old then nobody will be able to take it as it would not reach more recent fire safety standards. Unless it is of antique value and worth restoring I think it will just have to go to the tip. :(

Thanks for that, the North Shropshire recycle group are picking it up on Tuesday! It was far too good to throw away plus she had no way of getting it there! At least it will get used for a good cause now. Thanks to all for your suggestions
