There have been some complaints about the lack of parking for non-disabled users on the forecourt at Shrewsbury railway station. Whilst I can understand this, I guess we would never knowingly park in a space reserved for disabled drivers. One MP thinks differently it appears

I do find it a bit odd that ALL of the spaces are now disabled only at the station, especially when there doesn't seem to be demand for them. I use the station twice a day and not once since they changed the parking to disabled only has the car park been more than about 50% full.

I dont think a lot of though has been given at the station actually for the disabled. I'm told the lift doesnt always work, its small. I use the station a lot and I havent seen many disabled people on the platform. Thats probably why the parking spaces are always empty
