Has anyone noticed the how the front of the railway station has taken on a run down appearance lately.

I think its look tatty for a while especially when they leave the xmas decorations up including the tree until February!

Compared with the frontispieces of Birmingham New Street, Euston or Crewe (all three of which I am regularly found standing before, avoiding the smoking ban :-)), I think it looks quite good.

Not bad for a station whose architectural history is rather bizarre.

Please never mention the war or Arriva Trains, I have very little to say about them other than they should stick to buses :)

That's odd, I had no idea Arriva were involved in the Iraq conflict...

Apparently they are in charge of scheduling. The war should have been finished in September 2006, but there were leaves on the track.

I think if Arriva fought a war I'd join the other side.

Rhassaris, John Cleese in Fawlty towers is famous for saying this in the company of Germans. Dont you ever get out ! :D

err... yes, I did get it, but you said "the war OR Arriva Trains", whereas I was making a light-hearted connection between the war AND Arriva. Which everyone else got, but you didn't. So there :P

Huh.

At least I don't have an ambiguous motto...

"Support British Farming; carry a sheep into the office with you."

(I got stuck for something else to pick on :))
