I've been in forums since 1997, and have been around where suicides have been threatened, where people have actually done things (such as self harming), and have had to be coaxed into giving away personal info, so that emergency help could be summoned.

I even got involved when an online friend took and overdose of sleeping tablets, kept drifting off to sleep, but in the end we got an ambulance for him. It was horrendous knowing it was happening, but not knowing where the guy was.
