hi just wondered if anyone knew of any good plumbers as we have just converted a barn(but still got an outbuilding to convert) and we used a plumber from hereford first-who left my parents with a massive gas leak under ground that he couldnt find for ages-so could have been a nightmare!!
so we fired him off our job as we didnt trust him and then we used Mullins!!!
well initailly they were quite good but they just never seem to finish-even now!!
they were supposed to finish our barn in september so we could move in as we had to move out but they actually hadnt finished until end of december-and we actually still have a leak which they havent found but keep trying to blame other people whereas we have now found exactly wherer it is and have told them but they wont return our calls.
service is appalling but all they care about is getting the money out of you-oh and also they should give you a certificate at the end to complete the work etc and to get things all signed off-they didnt give us this until february after calling them numerous times.
so just a word of warning dont use mullins!!!

I don't know if you've got it sorted now but there were a couple of firms recommended on the Blue & Amber site a while ago in a thread on local trusted tradesmen.

we have asked our builder who has reccomended someone now(he first recommended kevin mcdonald but we heard very bad things about him, like being in court for pucnching his customers, so didnt use him)
but he has mentioned another one which seems ok but if not will keep those in mind
